I finally got around to giving this wooden box a makeover – I featured it in a Treasure Hunting post back in October I think.
Besides the handles, it was a pretty basic box with some stain issues.
I painted it in Country Gray Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan and then added the Fleur de Lis Garland stencil from Royal Design Studio. The stencil and hardware were painted in Graphite Chalk Paint, and I used clear wax to protect it all.
And voila!
So much better than the before, right?
I can imagine recipes or keepsakes in there – even gloves by the front door.
