Friends, I have been in full-on recovery mode since the market this weekend. It was such a great experience (and I’ll share all the details soon) but it was a lot of work and I was so exhausted afterward! The last few days have been spent snuggling with my baby and taking care of my other two boys who were both sick. 🙁
Today I’m sharing an easy tray makeover I did for the market – I picked this piece up a long time ago at Goodwill:
Just a simple wood tray, with words on both sides that I sanded off. I painted it in a couple coats of soft and pretty Paris Grey Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan. Then I chose this stencil (only about $5 right now on Amazon! – affiliate link) to add some character to the sides. TIP: Remember to look at each part of a stencil separately to see if you can use part of it on a small project (you can see that I only used the “Paris” part once before).
All it needed was a little distressing and it was finished! And it was the perfect Hershey’s Kiss holder for shoppers at the market. 😉
Super cute for an inexpensive Goodwill tray, right?
I’ll share more market makeovers and details soon! xo
