Hi friends – Happy Friday!
Today I’m sharing a few of my favorites from around the web and a few personal updates –
1. Beth is a total pro at decorative staining. She makes amazing floral art on old tables (like below) – visit her blog Sawdust & Embryos HERE for details and even a video tutorial!
2. You may have already seen this dresser makeover by my friend Larissa of Prodigal Pieces, since it’s been exploding all over the internet lately – but it’s too fabulous not to share! Garage Sale Freebie to Volkswagen Bus:
3. Lastly, I’m always inspired when I read this quote and it’s so beautiful in this colorful graphic:
Now for some personal updates:
I’m not gonna lie, it’s been a really rough week for me. I’ve been going to bed early and still exhausted most of the day. I’m giving myself permission to take it easy since I only have a few weeks left of this pregnancy – and I really thought I was going into labor once or twice this week. Thankfully it was a false alarm and I’m hoping for at least another week. But we will see.
Thanks to a ton of help from my mom (since my hubby was out of town for a few days), the boys’ room makeovers are really coming together and I am SO excited about it. One got new paint, both are getting new full-size beds and bedding, new decor, etc. We’re hoping to finish it all up today before they get home from school. Fingers crossed!
Lastly- since I’m taking it a little more easy lately, I apologize if you’ve commented or emailed me and I haven’t replied right away. I’ve been on my computer less than usual trying to rest more and finish things up around the house. When the baby comes, I have some awesome blogging friends who are going to do some guest posts for me, and I’ll still pop in with updates and projects also. I actually have a few things to write about that I haven’t even put on the blog yet. Thanks so much for your patience and for sticking around even if I’m a little bit preoccupied with other important things! And as always, prayers are appreciated for surviving the rest of this pregnancy and for a healthy baby. 🙂
