I know it’s been over a month since I confessed my messy garage to you guys (if you forgot, read about it HERE), and trust me, I’ve still been working on it! It’s not finished yet but here’s an update:
I donated tons of stuff to the church rummage sale fundraiser (including a couple pieces of furniture which I planned to make over but really didn’t love and I wasn’t excited about anymore).
I also have several bags ready to donate to a local church-run thrift store. (Plus other small items that I still have to dig out of the garage.)
It’s still a work in progress but it’s getting better!
Have you heard that saying – when you start working out it takes 4 weeks for you to notice any change in your body, 8 weeks for your friends and family to notice, and about 12 weeks for the rest of the world? That’s like my garage. I’m slowly thinning it out and you might not be able to tell a big difference in this photo below, but I really did get rid of a ton of stuff!
I’m not gonna lie, I added a few new things too – but only furniture that I truly love and am excited to work on. But hey at least I can walk through my garage to get outside now!
I’ll keep you updated of any more progress. 😉 I know when I confessed my messy garage there were several of you who also had some of the same issues as me – how are you doing on cleaning and organizing your garage?
I’d love to hear your progress (or even setbacks). Let’s keep it real! 😉
