April was a very busy month around here with both of the boys’ birthdays, a weekend trip to visit my in-laws, and activities going on every weekend. I love celebrations (and I love my family more than anything) but this girl just needs to stay home and chill sometimes. Which is what I did this weekend… although not by choice.
The boys were sick with a nasty cold (they’re still trying to get over it) and it hit me hard on Saturday. Like, I could barely move off the couch because I was exhausted and I had to wear sunglasses in my living room because of a migraine. Plus a cold and a sore throat and a toothache. Everything hit me at once – and the hubby was sick too. 🙁 Thankfully I have an awesome mom who stepped in and helped take care of the boys for a while so we could get some rest!
So that’s what the beginning of May was like for me – here’s a reminder of what April was like:
For May, I do have some projects planned and some posts in the works but I’m happy to say it won’t be as crazy around here as April was. 😉 Hubby and I are going to a concert that I’m really excited about, my second contributor post for The Happier Homemaker will go live on the 15th, and my contributor post for Live Creatively Inspired will go live on the 17th. (Side note: Have you ever visited those blogs? You should – they are awesome!) It’s also Mother’s Day and Memorial Day, so I’m looking forward to spending some relaxing time with my family- hopefully outside if this Indiana weather ever warms up!
Here’s to a fabulous May!
