Beach-Inspired Summer Tablescape with an Upcycled Centerpiece

Inspiration for creating a beachy/bohemian tablescape for summer parties, an upcycled flower box centerpiece, and a dinnerware giveaway! girlinthegarage.net

Summer officially started last week and with 4th of July right around the corner, I know we’re all thinking about summer parties and get-togethers.  Today I’m sharing my beachy/bohemian summer tablescape, a DIY centerpiece – and I have a fabulous giveaway too!  How can so much awesomeness be crammed into one post?!

Bright colors, flowers, and beach-inspired decor set the mood for any summer party.  Natural colors and shades of blue evoke a calmness and my memories of playing in the sand while listening to waves crash on the shore.

Above is a mason jar flower box that used to be a CD holder!  Go HERE to see how I made it.

This dinnerware is GORGEOUS.  It’s the Dolce Turquoise and it’s made by Pfaltzgraff, so you know it’s good quality!  I am so in love with the textured pattern, especially on the salad plate.  And the bowls are super deep; great for holding lots of salad (or ice cream!) at a summer party.

Even the pattern on these candleholders reminds me of ripples in the water.

I absolutely love red with turquoise, they’re two of my favorite colors.

Some pom-poms hanging over the centerpiece add a little whimsy.

What really pulls it all together is this beautiful blue and white textured tablecloth – it reminds me of a big beach blanket.

These are my beach-inspired vases and jars on the side table.  The colors make me happy.  🙂

I like how the plate sides come up so far. Less food on the tablecloth from the littles, maybe? 🙂

Love these, Jen! Your table looks so summery, I want one of those table cloths too! My Mom used to pronounce it “Fesilgraff” lol. We would always have to correct her! She’s Scottish and has an accent, but I don’t think that should have made a difference lol. Have a great weekend 🙂
